Amy Baxter, LVT, Practice Manager
Amy started working for Macedon Veterinary Care as a kennel attendant in March, 2001. She attended SUNY Delhi and obtained her AAS in veterinary technology in 2004 and then her BBA in veterinary management in 2006. She started working as the practice manager in January, 2007. She currently lives in Marion with her husband. When not at work, Amy enjoys reading, horseback riding, hiking, running, and spending time with family and friends and spending time with her husband and their pets. They currently have a Golden Retriever, an Olde English Bulldogge, a Chihuahua, two cats (DSH and Ragdoll), and a horse. When not "relaxing" they're usually found fixing up and updating their house.
Sarah Green, LVT
Sarah started working in the veterinary field when she was in high school. She attended SUNY Delhi and obtained her AAS in veterinary technology in 2006. She started working for Macedon Veterinary Care in August, 2008. Sarah enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She currently lives in Canandaigua with her three cats and an American Eskimo dog. In her spare time she enjoys hiking, camping, fishing, and photography and she always loves to make people laugh. She's regularly found cracking jokes around the hospital.
Kara Goulette, LVT
Kara started working in the animal field while in high school. At that time it was for the Wayne County Humane Society. She attended Medaille College and obtained her AAS in veterinary technology in 2007. She started working for Macedon Veterinary Care in June, 2007. Kara currently lives in Lyons with her three dogs, a Chow mix, a long haired Dachshund, a wirehaired Dachshund, and two cats. In her spare time, Kara enjoys spending time with her family, friends and pets. She enjoys the outdoors specifically nature walks, camping, fishing, and boating. She loves reading and watching anything to do with suspense, horror, or drama. She's especially a fan of vacationing down south in the warm weather.
Lauren Cuprill, LVT
Lauren started working for Macedon Veterinary Care in October, 2011. She attended Suffolk County Community College and obtained her AAS in veterinary technology in 2003. She currently lives in Fairport with her fiancé, four cats, and two dogs, a Yellow Lab and a Pit Bull. In her spare time Lauren enjoys writing, roller derby, working on her 1977 Chevrolet K-10 pick-up, the outdoors, singing & dancing, and watching football. She's an outgoing, vivacious person. You never know what color nail polish she'll have on. The quote she lives by is "Life's too short to take it seriously!"
Kari Minichiello, Supervising Receptionist
Kari has been working for Macedon Veterinary Care since November, 2003. She currently lives in East Rochester with her husband, and her mixed breed dog "Rain." In her spare time, Kari enjoys reading, spending time with friends and family and especially her animals. She also enjoys horseback riding, cooking/baking, and road trips.
Jessica Carr, Receptionist
Jessica has been working for Macedon Veterinary Care since October, 2008. She currently lives in Palmyra with her fantail calico cat Tiger Lily, and her Shiba Inu, Boston. In her spare time she enjoys drawing, reading, and spending time with friends. She also spends a good part of the year volunteering and fundraising for Palmyra's annual Relay for Life.
Karen Fresco, Receptionist
Karen has been working for Macedon Veterinary Care since March, 2011. She originally grew up in Hong Kong, but attending RIT from 1996-2000 brought and kept her in this area. Karen currently lives in Palmyra with her boyfriend, her cat, and 3 dogs. She enjoys watching movies, reading, spending time with friends, dancing, and traveling. Her favorite season is fall and she claims that chocolate chip cookies are the best thing in the world!
Kailey Kinslow, Kennel Attendant
Kailey has been working for Macedon Veterinary Care since June, 2010. She currently lives in Palmyra and is attending Finger Lakes Community College. Kailey plans on being a veterinarian so she's working on her undergraduate work now and hopes to attend Cornell University for Veterinary Medicine in the future. She has always wanted to be a veterinarian and working at MVC has reaffirmed that decision. Kailey has two Jack Russells, "Missy" and "Jack", one Aussie/hound mix "Jake", and a rabbit "Lola". In her rare spare time (did we mention she works two jobs amidst full time college classes??), Kailey enjoys spending time with her family and friends, caring for her pets, and traveling.
Christina Thrall, Kennel Attendant
Christina has been working for Macedon Veterinary Care since August, 2011. She currently lives in Canandaigua with her cats and a lionhead rabbit. In her spare time Christina enjoys cooking, watching tv, visiting family, and of course playing with her pets.
Chris House, Kennel Attendant/Inventory Manager
Chris has been working for Macedon Veterinary Care since May, 2000. He currently lives in Macedon with his dog "Casey" and three cats. Chris has been working on becoming a licensed paramedic. When not at work, he spends his time volunteering with the Canandaigua and Walworth fire departments; fishing; and on occasion, sleeping.
