Dr. Karen A. Oros
Karen A. Oros, DVM completed her undergraduate work at LeMoyne College and obtained her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Cornell University in 1990. Dr. Oros completed an internship at the University of Guelph. Dr.Oros practiced equine/companion animal medicine for 10 years, however, since opening Macedon Veterinary Care, Dr. Oros has restricted her practice to companion animal medicine. Dr. Oros is very knowledgeable in both feline and canine medicine. She has additional training in using ultrasonography for both abdominal and cardiac problems. Dr. Oros routinely performs ultrasound examinations at Macedon Veterinary Care.
Dr. Oros donates time to both Wayne and Ontario County Humane Societies. Dr. Oros is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the American Association of Feline Practitioners, and the NYS Veterinary Medical Association.
Dr. Linda A. Schneider
Linda A. Schneider, VMD completed her undergraduate work at Ohio State University and obtained her Veterinary Medical Doctor degree from the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Schneider has practiced companion animal medicine for more than 30 years. Dr. Schneider completed the IVAS certification for Veterinary Acupuncture in 1989 and the Chi Institute Herbal Certification course in 1999. Dr. Schneider combines Traditional Chinese Medicine with conventional medicine and believes in combining alternative approaches and nutritional therapy with conventional medical treatments.
Dr. Schneider is a member of the NYS Veterinary Medical Association, the American Veterinary Medical Association, American Holistic Veterinary Association, The International and American Veterinary Acupuncture Associations.
Dr. Sara Wiggins
Sara Wiggins, DVM is originally from the Rochester area (Webster) but traveled to Ohio for her undergraduate and veterinary schooling. After graduating from The Ohio State University School of Veterinary Medicine, she briefly practiced Large Animal Medicine in Tennessee before returning to her native upstate New York. Dr. Sara is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the New York State Veterinary Medical Society.
In her time out of the office, Dr. Sara enjoys hiking with her dogs and gardening. Her animal family includes three dogs, three cats and a tortoise.

Amy Smith, LVT
Practice Manager
Amy has been employed at Macedon Veterinary Care since March, 2001 when she started as a kennel attendant. She attended SUNY Delhi and graduated in May, 2004 with an AAS and then again in May, 2006 with a BBA in Veterinary Management. She has been working as the Practice Manager since January, 2007. She currently resides with three dogs; a Chihuahua-“Miss Chips”, a Golden Retriever-“Jasmine”, and an Olde English Bulldogge-“Delilah” along with two cats-a Ragdoll and a domestic shorthaired. In her spare time Amy enjoys spending time outside with her dogs and boyfriend, hiking, biking, horseback riding, motorcycling, and reading.

Maureen Martel, LVT
Maureen is a 2006 graduate of SUNY Delhi. She has been a licensed veterinary technician at Macedon Veterinary Care since August, 2006. She currently owns two dogs, a Daschund/Spaniel mix, and a longhaired Chihuahua, three cats, two rabbits, and one hamster. Four of those pets were rescued from shelters. In her spare time Maureen enjoys snowmobiling, motorcycling, spending time with her pets and family. She enjoys going to Rhode Island every summer for vacation and the beach. She’s also a big hockey fan.

Sarah Green, LVT
Sarah is a 2006 graduate of SUNY Delhi. She has been a licensed veterinary technician at Macedon Veterinary Care since August, 2008. She currently owns two dogs-a Jack Russell mix named “Lucky” and an American Eskimo named “Snowball,” as well as two cats. In her spare time, Sarah enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She likes to go camping and enjoys being outdoors hiking. She also likes traveling and photography

Kara Goulette, LVT
Kara is a 2007 graduate of Medaille College. She has been a licensed veterinary technician at Macedon Veterinary Care since June, 2007. She currently owns one dog, a mixed breed named “Max”, many cats, three beta fish-“Mars”, “Jupiter”, and “Venus”, and a guinea pig named “Bertie.” In her spare time Kara enjoys playing playstation, grooming dogs, gardening, and doing crafts such as making photo albums, taking pictures, and making bracelets
