Taking a vacation and your pet can’t go with you? Macedon Veterinary Care has complete boarding facilities for your pet, in a clean and safe environment monitored by an on staff veterinarian.

We have separate cat and dog facilities. All pets are treated with loving care and dogs are taken for daily walks outdoors. All pets diet are monitored with strict adherence to your pet's dietary needs. Pets are even invited to bring their own toys and bed for their stay!

Boarding hours are similar to our office hours. Please phone ahead to schedule boarding -- especially for the holidays -- and arrive at least thirty minutes before closing time to pick up your pet. If a Sunday pick-up is more convenient, please speak to our receptionist when you drop your pet off to make arrangements. If you’ll be away for awhile, ask that your pet have a bath and a nail trim their last day with us so that they smell fresh and clean for your return.

Our indoor, temperature-controlled kennel provides a safe and clean environment for your pet. To make their surroundings a little more like home, please feel free to bring their favorite blanket and toys.

If your pet is on medication, we can administer it at the appropriate time. Your dog will be taken out for exercise in our grassy walk area.

Our kennels are kept clean inside to prevent the spread of contagious diseases. Waste material in the outdoor area is routinely removed.

To board your pet you'll need to have them up-to-date on their distemper, bordatella, and rabies vaccinations and free of fleas or other external or internal parasites. Call our office to schedule a visit today.
