Hospital Manager

Rebecca Hall, Hospital Manager – Rebecca started with Macedon Veterinary Care in July 2014. Rebecca and her family currently reside in Fairport with her three cats Shadow, Sydney and Sasha. They also have a very spoiled rescue dog named Stuart. In her free time Rebecca enjoys spending time with friends and family, gardening, cooking and being outdoors! Rebecca and her family also enjoy camping and spending time in the finger lakes region as well as all the village of Fairport has to offer.


Dorothy Callahan

Brenna, Receptionist at Macedon Veterinary CareDorothy grew up in the Rochester area and has been working in the veterinary field for over 11 years. She started working “per diem” for us in October 2012 and joined us full time in October 2013. She has been fostering kittens for Lollypop Farm for years and she finds it incredibly rewarding. Dorothy lives with her husband, 2 Golden wannabe Retrievers, a pride of demanding cats, and two African Gray parrots. She’s a published author and loves including animals in her stories. When she’s not working or writing, she can usually be found at local antique stores.

Robyn Drey

Angel, Receptionist at Macedon Veterinary CareRobyn started working at Macedon Veterinary Care in 2015. Robyn has three dogs; a Yorkie Terrier named Brown and a Papillion named Bella and a Affenpinscher named Tater . If Robyn isn’t busy sewing clothes for her dogs she will be in the kitchen cooking!

Karen Higgs

Beata, Receptionist at Macedon Veterinary CareKaren has been working for Macedon Veterinary Care since March, 2011. She originally grew up in Hong Kong, but attending RIT from 1996-2000 brought and kept her in this area. Karen currently lives in Palmyra with her husband, her cat, and 3 dogs. She enjoys watching movies, reading, spending time with friends, dancing, and traveling. Her favorite season is fall and she claims that chocolate chip cookies are the best thing in the world!

Melanie Porey

Jeannie, Receptionist at Macedon Veterinary CareMelanie started working at Macedon Veterinary Care in 2012. Melanie has two children and two dogs, a boxer mix named Chloe and a mini Old English Bulldog named Thor. When Melanie is not working she loves camping and hiking as well as spending time with family.

Robin Sanders

Marta, Receptionist at Macedon Veterinary CareRobin is happily married and loves sharing her home with 4 cats, 3 dogs, 2 ferrets and three awesome daughters! Robin loves spending time by the water, reading, writing and playing games. Her family keeps her as sane as she is going to get and she is so happy to have found a job she loves with a great bunch of people!

Ellen Colucci - Licensed Veterinary Technician

Ellen at Macedon Animal HospitalEllen graduated from Alfred State in 2015 and began working at Macedon Veterinary Care in 2016. Ellen has two dogs, Zoey and Morgan and loves spending her free time outdoors! Ellen is also a donut enthusiast!

Jen Englehart - Licensed Veterinary Technician

Jen at Macedon Animal HospitalJen is a Fairport native with 30 years of Technician experience. Jen joined Macedon Veterinary Care in December 2016 and came with a wealth of experience including rehab medicine and exotic animal care. In her free time Jen is also groomer and volunteers her time with the spay/ neuter feral cat clinics. Jen currently resides in Walworth with her family as well as her furry family members which includes her Border Collie Lily, a lion head rabbit named Sunny, 7 cats and Harriet the turtle. In her free time Jen enjoys gardening, camping, reading and hiking with Lily.

Kara Goulette - Licensed Veterinary Technician

Kelsey at Macedon Animal HospitalKara started at Macedon Veterinary Care in 2007 as a Technician. She received her Associates in Veterinary Technology from Medaille in 2007. Kara has three Dachshunds named Franklin, Hannah and Heinz and enjoys spending time with her “fur babies” outside of work. Kara also has a daughter named Jemma who keeps her very busy. In her spare time Kara is obsessed with Halloween and special effects makeup. Her favorite shows are The Walking Dead, Face Off and Skin Wars. Someday Kara hopes to become a part time makeup artist but says being an LVT will always come first.

Audrey Heckman - Licensed Veterinary Technician

Kelsey at Macedon Animal HospitalAudrey graduated from Alfred State with an Associate degree in Veterinary Technology in 2015. During her time at Alfred State Audrey had to complete a 260 hour internship which she did with us at Macedon Veterinary Care. Upon Audrey’s pending graduation we reached out to her to see if she would be interested in a position with us because we all enjoyed working with her during her internship. Audrey accepted our job offer and began working with Macedon Veterinary Care June 2015.

Christina Ignasiak - Licensed Veterinary Technician

Christina at Macedon Animal HospitalChristina started with Macedon Veterinary Care in July 2017. She brought with her a great deal of knowledge about small animal care as well as exotic pets! Christina shares her home with her three rabbits, three dogs and currently resides in Macedon with her husband.

Brittany Graham - Licensed Veterinary Technician

Brittany at Macedon Animal HospitalBrittany started with Macedon Veterinary Care in June 2018. She spent a few years at another veterinary hospital gaining experience in small animal care as well as the care of exotic pets. Brittany also works closely with the Humane Society fostering kittens in need. She currently resides in Greece with her family and rescue cats.

Lisa, Assistant at Macedon Veterinary CareSam had worked at Macedon Veterinary Care since 2012. She is going to school to be a nurse and has two small dogs at home named Chi-Chi and Buddy. Her animals are her pride and joy and she loves caring for them and making sure they get the exercise they need. Sam loves her job at Macedon Veterinary Care and all the animals she gets to interact with everyday!
